Colin Marsh
Ever since I can remember I have always taken an interest in drawing and painting. Having finished my diploma in Art & Design at Hereward College in 1994, I went on to do a Fine Art degree at Coventry University, where I specialised in figurative painting.
Many people consider my work as political, but I would simply say that it is my vehicle for communication.
This current work is on a very personal level and concerns itself with exposing the spectator to a very private moment that occurs almost every day of my life. It is a unique part of the daily routine to enable me to get into my wheelchair.
